Human Resources

Thank you for your interest in Wisconsin Lutheran College!

WLC is an independent, nationally ranked Christian college affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. We value quality teaching and active scholarship. Our goal is to deliver a rigorous, personalized education within a caring, Christian community of scholars and students. Education at Wisconsin Lutheran College also involves the spiritual development of our students. Because of this spiritual dimension, a Wisconsin Lutheran College faculty or academic staff position is a form of public ministry.

  • FACULTY AND LEADERSHIP: WLC seeks to recruit members of the faculty and leadership who are active members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) or the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) and who share our commitment to quality Christian higher education and faithfulness to the Scriptures. After identifying qualified candidates subject to the approval of the WELS Southeast Wisconsin District Presidium, WLC issues a divine call to the selected individual.
  • STAFF MEMBERS: For most open staff positions, WELS or ELS membership is desirable but not required. Successful applicants will be able to perform job duties in a manner consistent with WLC’s Code of Christian Conduct and WLC's mission, ministry, and affiliation with the WELS.
Open staff and adjunct positions, along with faculty and leadership positions for which the college has issued a call for nominations, are listed below.
